Luna di Ponca is the label designed for the new Collio DOC wine from Borgo Conventi, the Friulian estate acquired by the Moretti Polegato family that today re-launches the historic winery in Farra d’Isonzo with an outstanding white wine, produced in six thousand numbered bottles and presented in packaging designed by Spazio di Paolo.
The
name
was
born
at
the
time
of
a
dinner
held
in
the
estate’s
vineyards
by
the
light
of
the
full
moon.
The
label
is
intended
to
present
this
encounter
as
a
sensory
journey
to
discover
Ponca,
where
the
soil
consists
of
marl
and
sandstone,
rich
in
minerals,
on
which
the
vines
are
grafted,
transmitting
all
the
typical
features
of
its
grapes
to
the
wine.
The
triple
layer
of
paper
pays
tribute
to
the
full-bodied
nature
of
the
unique
subsoil,
which
is
brought
to
light
thanks
to
the
moonlight
and
that
explains
the
origin
of
the
taste
of
this
new
white
wine,
created
to
leave
a
memory.
