The
Luxoro
2022
project
is
inspired
by
Carmenero,
a
"revelation"
wine
from
the
Ca'
del
Bosco
winery.
The
tale
is
ironically
well
depicted
on
the
historic
label
by
a
wolf
in
a
lamb's
skin.
Carmènere
is
a
grape
variety
native
to
the
Bordeaux
region,
long
confused
with
Cabernet
franc.
Although
it
shares
organoleptic
traits,
it
is
a
very
different
grape
variety:
much
more
intense
and
spicy.

The Luxoro 2022 project is inspired by Carmenero, a "revelation" wine from the Ca' del Bosco winery. The tale is ironically well depicted on the historic label by a wolf in a lamb's skin. Carmènere is a grape variety native to the Bordeaux region, long confused with Cabernet franc. Although it shares organoleptic traits, it is a very different grape variety: much more intense and spicy.
In
our
project,
we
interpreted
this
story
through
printing
techniques
and
three-dimensional
interaction,
creating
an
embossing
cloak
symbolizing
the
lamb
disguise
that
covers
the
bottle
revealing
the
true
identity
of
the
wine,
with
the
underlying
enigmatic
golden
gaze
of
the
wolf
among
the
foliage
in
the
night
forest.
