As part of this project for the Asian market, we designed a wine bottle that is one of a kind. West meets East in a cultural exchange that redefines style through the choice of a legendary and sacred witness: the carp.

In
an
interplay
of
solid
forms
and
empty
spaces,
a
three-dimensional
carp,
specially
crafted
in
copper,
alternates
with
a
twin
silhouette
carved
out
of
the
label,
mirroring
the
shape
of
the
Tao
symbol.
In
Asian
culture,
the
carp
is
an
animal
valued
and
esteemed
for
its
beauty,
but
above
all
because
it
symbolises
perseverance
and
good
luck.
Always
on
the
move,
it
is
considered
to
be
one
of
the
strongest
and
most
energetic
fishes,
so
much
so
that
it
is
able
to
swim
against
the
current.

This
is
why
it
is
interpreted
as
a
symbol
of
non-conformism,
the
capacity
to
overcome
adversity.
The
carp
legend
is
therefore
associated
with
willpower
and
positive
change,
emphasising
that
anyone
with
tenacity
can
achieve
important
results
by
accomplishing
great
feats.
